Emails, documents, tasks, files, and notes are spread across many applications. Each one knows only its own fragment, none knows the whole. To this day, it is the user working with them who creates the connection — over and over again.
As AI enters everyday work, this becomes a real obstacle. A model can only assess what it is shown; give it fragments, and it returns fragmentary answers. The bottleneck is no longer the technology, but the missing context.
ānbāsan solves that new problem. We connect scattered information into a working context in which knowledge is findable, understandable, and immediately usable — for users and for AI alike.

Andreas Bauer
Andreas Bauer founded ānbāsan and is responsible for architecture, development, and product. Before that, he spent several years building software for solar research: platforms that analyse scientific data and embed machine learning directly into daily work. He then joined an early-stage solar startup.
That experience shaped the conviction ānbāsan is built on: knowledge rarely fails for lack of data. It fails because the connection between the pieces is recorded nowhere — it lives only in the minds of the people who work with it.
We carry the connections in our heads. Software has never had a place for them. ānbāsan creates that place.
